These are the first “in-hand” images I’ve seen of a bagged Bounty Hunter X James Jarvis King-Kun. Knunt.com is a Tokyo-based retailer that scours various festivals, markets, Japanese shopping web sites, and Japan-only mail order items and wholesalers to bring you items you thought you’d never see again from the likes of Bounty Hunter, Kaws, Gargamel, Silas, Touma, Be@rbrick, Kubrick, Secret Base and Wonderwall. They’ve managed to get hold of some of these much-talked about Bounty Hunter/James Jarvis collabs. Not sure how many they have in stock, so if you need this, and you’ve got $285 (+ freight from Japan), click quick here. Stock goes in and out pretty fast as you might imagine. Currently, there are a few versions of the Kaws-Kun figure in stock too (B&W version = $240, Black version = $395, Mono version = oops, sold out…). One cool aspect of Knunt is that they list any flaws the items may have, and prices drop accordingly. For instance, I don’t collect pristine Kaws (I’m a toy blogger, not an investment banker), so I’d be OK with a great piece with a few blemishes that was affordable. Check it out.
