Black Diamond-Eyed Uamou Defies the Recession

Wed, Dec 10, 2008

Misc, designers, resin, vinyl

For those of you who live in denial land and who just happen to repeat the mantra “what recession, there ain’t no recession” over and over, this figure is perfect for you during the holiday season. Why? Cos this Uamou has black diamond eyes! Yeah, I ain’t kidding. This super special Uamou, which is limited to just thirty pieces, has real black diamonds that have been insert in each figure  ”by a specialized jeweler”.

This Uamou has been cast in a special glow in the dark resin and so not only will the black diamonds glisten and glow, but so will the figure itself! Each one will be signed and numbered. It will go on sale today and the sale will end 12/25/2008 (Christmas Day). Although the figure has real diamonds on it, the price really isn’t too bad at 14,800 yen (or about $160 US). This goes beyond stocking stuffer and is elevated to jewelry box status!
