Bid on Some Pricey Toys at Christies Auction House

custom, designers, events

As reported by Vinyl Pulse earlier today, there will be a big old pop culture auction at the highfalutin Christies auction house this summer. The bidding gets started on June 25th and will include a ton of items including a Joe Ledbetter Mr. Bunny, A Frank Kozik Stalin Bust or a set of Kidrobot Huck Gee Hello My Name is Dunnys. At the high end you can bid on the set of Kidrobot Fatcaps customized by Tilt and Mist along with a painted canvas for $8000 to $10000 or you can bid something on the low end like a set of Natalia Gianinazzi Grusli plush dolls – Mermaid and Wolf in Hunt Costume for an estimated $300 to $500. It runs the gamut. It will be interesting to see how this auction does, and if toy trading will leave the back rooms of stores and eBay to the auction floor of some of the most high profile auction houses out there. But best of all you can give your non-toy collector friends a big “I told you so”, when you talk about the worth of your collection. You can check out what’s being offered here.
