If you’re looking for a new skin for your iPod or iPhone, check out these SKAFFS skins available from Skinizi. The SKAFFS skins come in two designs, and they are available for the iPhone, iTouch, iPod Video, iPod Nano, and of course the classic iPod. I like both, but Mizuko (picture at top) appeals more to those who love cute characters.
I first saw SKAFFS creator Luke Feldman at last spring’s Vinyl Toy Network. I was immediately drawn to his artwork which featured animation-style girls and cross-legged female ninjas. He didn’t have any vinyl toys on display, but there were a few other non-toy artists in attendance. My first purchase of the day was a Skaffnet, an original acrylic-painted magnet (pictured below).
Since then, SKAFFS has moved into the vinyl toy realm. The prototype for his first vinyl toy was shown at the recent WonderCon.
The Maiko toy is collaboration between Dodgrr and SKAFFS. Maiko was scheduled for launch in Australia early this month, but it is not yet available on his website. The Vinyl Toy section only has the words “Coming Soon,” so we’ll have to wait until Maiko is officially unveiled.
