Moopf Moleskine 2 Moopf Sketchbook Cogs

Moopf is the design business name for UK artist, Gareth Lancaster who does digital cartoons and abstract acrylic illustration. Moleskine is an Italian brand of notebook favored by journalists and hipsters the world over.

The unofficial Moopf/Moleskine mashup is a great boon for doodlers and writers alike. In his blog, Moopf confesses:

“I’m a bit of a stationary hoarder. I love paper, especially, and have heaps of different sketchbooks lying around that will get used one day. It’s an addiction.”

The first two Moleskines were made to order for his kids using Uni Posca paint markers on the 9 x 14cm books, one with lines and one without. Other Moleskins will follow and be available along with his other sketchbooks on his Etsy shop. Moopf also just started customizing vinyl Munny figures. Check it out here.

I’m also a bit of a small notebook hoarder. What to do if you’ve got enough notebooks stacked in your closet, but the Mead marble pattern is getting tired? Moopf will send you free stickers–yes, totally free. Tell him ToyCyte told you about it. Let him know you want some here.
