One of the most talked-about figures from NYCC is now in wide(r) release from Ashley Wood’s own Bambaland shop. Blogged previously here, urban vinyl meets desert resin in Bertie the Pipebomb. The 14″ figure has 43 points of articulation. Scott Wetterschneider of Bigshot Toyworks sculpted Bertie on Wood’s design in a mix of ABS plastic, resin and rotocast vinyl. Much like flak jackets for U.S. soldiers in Iraq, this artillery is in high demand and short supply. Pre-order now to secure yourself a Bertie with a special signed giclee–only the first 40 of each colorway will get the print. Orders ship in Mid-June from Three Zero in Hong Kong. Priced at $300 a piece. Flat $30 USD shipping. Paypal only.

I know what I’m asking Santa for this year… well, really, I know what I’m asking my wife for this year.

Actually, I already know her answer. Sigh. Buddy, can you spare some change? About $300 worth of change?
