custom, designers, events, vinyl

Greetings and ahoy hoy to you, fellow friend and traveler. Ok, I can’t keep up with the Victorian steampunk speak of the 19th century like England’s Doktor A can. In addition to making the most amazing steam machines I’ve seen and designing a cast of insane characters from his world, Retropolis, he’s also able to seamlessly write as if he’s channeling Jules Verne. Check out the great bios and history he has written about the world. Well for anyone in the Columbus, Ohio area, Doktor A’s fantastical machines of awe and wonderment can be enjoyed (and to some extent, purchased) at the Rivet gallery. Here’s a mere morsel of the tantalizing tin (and copper, and vinyl) treats and oddities to be enjoyed. My favorites are the beautifully detailed and elegant Lady In Waiting, the unfortunate tale of Stephen LePodd, and industrialist Digby Shuttleworth.
