Beethoven Bust Rings and Pendants NOT by Frank Kozik

Beyond Toys

Since Frank Kozik made Ludwig Busts [tagged] and Labbit jewelry, you could assume that he’d be responsible for these Beethoven rings and pendants. But you’d be wrong. As seen on HypeBeast, Las Vegas’ Fruiton shop is hocking the suspiciously Frank-esque bling for $200 (rings, above) and $220 (pendants, below). This range of Beethoven Busts comes from MC Verbal of the Teriyaki Boyz as part of his AMBUSH jewelry line. People seem mixed on these, with some calling it out as a blatant copy, others wondering aloud who would wear these and those who say act fast before your favorite color sells out. My 2 cents would be to act slowly and consider if you’ve got $200 and a penchant for A Clockwork Orange, whether you’d be happier spending your pretty polly on a much larger Ludwig Bust by Frank.

Beethoven is public domain, so making pastels busts isn’t anything new. SSUR beat Kozik to the pink bust thing by a few years anyway.
