ARTOYZ has dropped some preview pics of several of the characters comprising their forthcoming Elements Alpha Series first seen here. Elements Alpha builds on the original transparent Elements line by putting their exteriors in the hands of a global array of artists, including: Skwak, Koralie, Nathan Jurevicius, Koa, Jean Spezial, Bwana Spoons, Steph Cop, Mist, Jon Burgerman and thirteen others. I’m digging the roster and the cohesion of this group set. The bad news is also the good news: While the 3-inch figures (22 in all) will be sold blind-boxed, in looking at the previews, there’s none I’d be unhappy with. I may be in the minority, but I’ve just grown weary of buying blind. I’m too neurotic for surprises and time is too elusive for unloading my doubles. I’m thinking, however, that based on the beauty of these figtures (LOVE the Skwak piece!), there will be enough interest to facilitate some localized trading sessions around the world.
