ToyCyte: Toy Culture Collected

Amidst the bragging rights of a particularly cool couple weeks of toy-related freshness from France (see Customania and Paris Tout P’tits) comes a press-release from Artoyz. First seen here as as a prototype, the Artoyz Elements Prologue set now has an official release date of June 26th. The upcoming series takes its cues from Ancient Greece wherein it was thought that all matter in the world is comprised of 4 elements: Water, Air, Earth and Fire. The term prologue is used to introduce characters and action, as well as pave the way for forthcoming releases, including: CHAOS MONKEY by BUNKA and ELEMENTS FIRSTDEGREE by EASY HEY.

Artoyz Elements Prologue consists of four figures by EASY HEY, with modeling by Gregos. Each figure is 7-8cm. (3 inches) tall and made of transparent ABS plastic. There will be a production run of 500 sets distributed by Artoyz in France and DKE Toys for North America.
