I’m personally very excited for tonight’s APW Arts Halloween show, and not only ’cause I’ll be in it. Halloween is arguably our most aesthetically pleasing holiday, so to capture it in ever-pleasing toy format it simply a kickass idea. Pocketwookie’s custom Unipo (above left) looks delicious…and Jessica Russo’s Munny (above right) needs a dentist, surely a commentary on the oral decay that Halloween promotes too carelessly. Monsterule and BAMPOP’s customs are enjoying an interracial dragon/vampire romance (below left). When I stopped by the gallery earlier this week, PlayRoll’s piece (below right) slapped me in the face with awesome. Completely covered in leather (or a leather-like substance), it’s possible one of the most complex pieces I’ve seen in person, and seeing how it’s completely clad in leather, it probably enjoyed slapping me in the face.
Stay tuned for a gallery of works and an on-the-scene review of the show.

I’m little late with this, but thanks for featuring my toy!
