custom, plush

amybean

amybean stopped by ToyCyte HQ just before Wondercon kicked off last Friday. She brought with her a ton of energy, ideas and plush. Amy’s got an awesome history from building and blowing up stuff with Survival Research Laboratories to building and sewing stuff up with Cozy Rampage. We checked out a veritable pile of plush robots and talked about the local art community, the toy scene and the pros and cons of Twitter. (Follow Amy here. Follow ToyCyte here.) Amy will be a featured custoMONDAY artist in May, and we’re already excited about what she’s working on.  All I can tell you is that Cryptids are coming to your neighborhood.

If you are in, around or visiting the Bay Area, stop by and see us! It’s great to meet artists face to face.
