Tipped off on Alex Pardee’s blog, there’s a GREAT interview with him by MadElephant on imeem here. The interview cuts deep into the dark viscera and entrails that make up the mind and body of Alex. Some highlights: The Maxx was a pivotal point in Alex’s development as an artist (and, ostensibly, as a human, too.) He worked in a toy store at the mall for nine years. They got some “pretty insanely awesome voice talent” for CHADAM. Shia LaBeouf is in Cardboard City. Alex listens to both Godspeed! You Black Emperor and gangsta rap. He’d like a hamster, please Past, present and future projects (art book and SF solo show forthcoming) are discussed, so go get your memes on Alex Pardee over at imeem. There’s also lotsa pictures, too.
