Adidas Installations - Phu!

This is absolutely stunning. We all know that Phu! is an artist when it comes to vinyl toys. Take a look at two of his Adidas installations for his Adiartist exhibition. I grew up with Adidas, and they will always be my favorite shoe brand. His rendition of the Adidas logo looks great. But look closer. Can you see what they’re made of?

From his materials used list: plastic miniature soldiers, wooden plank, wire. Yes,  you read that correctly. He made this display out of plastic toy soldiers. How incredible is that? The Adiartist exhibition will be held at the Adidas Originals Concept Store - Raffle City (Singapore) on September 20-21. The third and final installation will be done live at the store. All of a sudden I want to shop for a new pair of Adidas Originals. See the rest of the preview pictures here.

I'm a nerd who loves music, movies, graphic novels, and of course toys. I grew up in Los Angeles, and I currently live in the non-plastic part of Orange County. I'm a sucker for anything that is little and cute: plushies, Dunnys, Smorkin' Labbits, zipper pulls. My collection is dominated by Kozik and Uglydolls, and my latest obsession is IWG/Rocket World.
