Our first vinyl custoMONDAY artist we featured was a fan favorite (and one of my personal favorite artists in the scene), OsirisOrion, aka Robert Ingellis. I have been working with OsirisOrion for a few months now to produce a ToyCyte line of customs and today we get to debut them in our store! All dolled [...]

I’ve teased photos of these in my Flickr for months, and my blog, but I’ve finally assembled the first set of five into one awesome wave. Please stay tuned as the story emerges. There are dozens of sketches for other citizens [...]

The shirts are very limited in quantity (under 60) and women’s sizes are especially scarce. Grab yourself a shirt while you still have the chance to clothe yourself. Here are some words from AlwaysSEEN: “Artist Patrick Francisco [...]

I was still logging keystrokes on the computer daily, but a significant number of them were going to buying toys on eBay. Then fate intervened in the [...]

It began with the innocent-enough acquisition of two items: A Curster Yeti by Erin Currie and Frank by Kristin Tercek (aka Cuddly Rigor Mortis). Following that, my mind, and the floodgates, were open to plush. I kept in touch with Kris and watched as new creatures were born into the Cuddly Rigor Mortis stable. You can see how her interests in Japanese culture, animation and horror movies are reflected in the detailed dolls. And detailed they are: each of the sizeable hand-sewn plushes comes with extra touches like embroidery and a birth certificate. If that conjures up an image of an Xavier Robert's signature, hello to everyone else who was born in the late 70s! But with designs based on Universal Monsters and New Jersey lore, these ain't no Cabbage Patch Kids. You can find the CRM crew on Facebook or you can enter here to win a 13 x 15-inch custom Anubis plush in the contest!

The colorway that dropped today was Lake Monster LM001B (aka “Seaweed”). Well to my disappointment by the [...]

I was able to explore any and all options to make a toy news blog profitable on a larger scale. I quickly found Jeremy, and a few other [...]

They’re bustin’ the old rubber molds to make way for all new awesomeness, so if you want one of WKY’s classic resin pieces, the end times are near. Fear not, though, as WKY has already produced [...]

But to Canadian customizer Okedoki, he looks more like a Kidrobot Munny. Writes the artist: This was a commission for Foosh, for their 10 [...]

So it kind of makes sense that when pink aficionado Buff Monster released the first edition of his Kaiju For Grown Ups figure last November, he had an even pinker version in the works. The clear magenta Demon Seed is [...]
